Drawing IV is a continuation of ART 2233 to develop further skills for advanced students.

Below are descriptions of some of the assignments in the course with student work examples.

Advanced Concept Development: Conceptual development is the primary goal, additionally students will have more comprehensive campaigns in their portfolios. The techniques can be applied to all design courses.

Alternative Photography teaches alternative photographic processes in black and white with emphasis on aesthetics.

The Art of Typography and Layout II: Advanced problems in presenting written communication in graphic form. 

The Art of Typography and Layout I teaches the art and process of presenting written communication in graphic form.

Watermedia Painting offers an in-depth exploration of water-based painting media utilizing watercolor and acrylic mediums in the creation of a body of two-dimensional artworks.

Digital Photography is a six hours studio that teaches techniques and aesthetics of digital imagery emphasizing the use of digital photographic input and output processes.

Sculpture II includes further exploration of concepts and processes of sculpture, including mold making and armature building. Beginning development of personal language of expression.

Ceramic Art II includes elementary glaze formulation, surface decoration, kiln firing, wheel thrown and hand-built form.

Illustration is a course introducing issues and instrumentation related to standards in the professional field of illustration emphasizing mixed-media processes.
