Maroon runs through our blood. Robert graduated in the Construction Engineering program in the 1980s, and I graduated from BCS in 2011 as part of the first class. We joined the board in effort to bring awareness to challenges our industry faces. It's important for students/faculty to see and hear of these challenges from a subcontractor's perspective.

Tell us a little about what you do in your role at Jesco.
I work for Jesco in a hybrid role. I work both in estimating and project management. This allows me to learn about all the different aspects of a construction project. I have enjoyed this role the past two years.

BCS Class of 2022 Celebration Lunch
A luncheon was held in honor of the Mississippi State University Department of Building Construction Science class of 2022.
The event was sponsored by Brad Stevens, president of Community Bank's Amory division.
Senior building construction science major Caleb Buckner of Madison and freshman building construction science major Ashton C. Gibson of Brandon received the scholarship.
Tell us a little about your role with the Building Construction Science Program.
I've been a member of the ¹ú²úBT IAB Board since its inception and am a founding member of the organization. I was also honored to receive the Mississippi State University Alumni Association ¹ú²úBT, Art and Design Alumnus of the Year Award in 2017.
